Reach communities
in need: An Abroad Volunteer Program (AVP)
SSCT
has decided to run this program from early 2008 so that the volunteers
inside the county will receive exposure and skills from the abroad volunteers
of the developing world. At the same time, the abroad youths will have
wonderful opportunities to experience life in diverse cultures and also
to care backward communities living in the another part of the same
globe.
Besides,
you will be able to make little contribution for the backward communities
with your time, skills and knowledge. Nepal is still an underdeveloped
country, which is trying to settle the political conflict through consensus
and dialogue. The international communities have continued to support
in her initiatives for socio-economic transformation so that nearly
one third of the Nepalese population can get peace dividend by coming
out of the vicious trap of poverty. Since, Nepal is in the process of
stabilizing herself, it is high time that we expedite our efforts to
reach those communities in need. Shreesadhak Satyam Charity Trust (SSCT),
a mass-based civil society organization in Nepal appeals international
organization and individuals to contribute concentrate our efforts in
whatever way we can.
Nepal
has lots and lots of the unskilled or frustrated youths who are likely
to lose the confidence, which had caused big damages in social and economic
structures. Such activities can threaten the harmony and equilibrium
across the boarders and continents. Now we are just recovering from
decade long civil strife and our youths urgently require exposures with
the positive knowledge and skills to train and develop themselves. Care
communities in need program links the local youths with the young generation
of developed worlds, through which both parties will enrich their lives.
